The Horn of Africa is experiencing the worst drought since 1981, and a shortfall in aid funding is putting the lives of millions in danger. (UN)
One in five people in drought-stricken East Africa don’t have enough safe drinking water. Failed rain is predicted to persist for a sixth consecutive season by May, making this the longest drought on record.
Mission Relief is distributing water tanks to communities that contain 10,000 litres of water per tanker.
We are passionate about sustainable development and long term solutions, this appeal is aimed at communities that do not have access to clean water and a water well is not a solution.
