On Sunday 11 August, we had the pleasure of hosting our highly anticipated Sunday Fun Day, and what a day it was! The sun was shining, the food was sizzling and the sense of community was truly inspiring. With a perfect mix of food, fun, games, and giving back, it turned out to be an unforgettable family event that brought people together for a meaningful cause.
A Day Filled with Joy and Laughter
The weather couldn’t have been better alhamdulillah —clear skies and warm sunshine set the stage for a day full of activities. Families gathered to enjoy a variety of sports, games, and prizes. From exciting competitions to delicious food stalls serving up mouth-watering treats, there was something for everyone. The kids had a blast, parents mingled and connected, and the community spirit was alive and well.

But Sunday Fun Day was about more than just fun—it was about making a real difference. Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, we raised a staggering £4,205.20! This sum will go directly towards supporting the most vulnerable families and orphans in East Africa, providing them with essential supplies such as food and clean drinking water. In a region currently facing severe droughts, your contributions will serve as a lifeline to those in desperate need.
