Build a masjid
Gain continuous rewards for this life and the next
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” [Bukhari]
Building a masjid is one of the most noble causes in the Islamic faith with a promise of a continuous reward (Sadaqah Jariyah). Every community needs a masjid where the local Muslims can learn about the religion, worship their lord and connect with other Muslims in the area.
The total cost of building a masjid in Kenya depends on the size of the masjid. It costs £10,000 to build a masjid for 200 people. This will include the option to choose the name of the masjid.
However, if you would like to contribute a smaller amount but still reap the rewards of Sadaqah Jariyah, you have the option to customise your donation.
Build A Masjid FAQ’s
Mission Relief are building Masjids across Africa.
This varies on the location and size of the Masjid. Each location is carefully chosen to ensure the Masjid will come to good use and is benefitting the community. We use high standard materials to help establish a solid, long-lasting build. We aim to complete each Masjid build within 12 months.
Mission Relief produces a completion report for every Masjid that is built. The report will include the exact location of the Masjid with photographs including the plaque name.
You can donate as much as you would like towards a Masjid project. Your donation will contribute towards the build of a masjid and equally you will receive your reward from Allah swt.
