Access to menstrual products is essential for anyone who menstruates. A lack of access to menstrual products not only forces girls to manage their periods in dangerous and unsanitary ways, but it also means girls’ education, well-being, and sometimes their entire lives are affected.
Mission Relief will be providing hamper packs to young girls and women which contain 6 reusable pads, soap, clean underwear and razors so, that they can maintain their periods safely and with dignity. We will also be providing menstrual education to empower period management, personal hygiene and discuss the stigma surrounding menstrual cycles.
Hygiene Pack FAQ’s
Mission Relief launched its first reusable pads workshop in Kenya. We created employment by teaching local women how to stitch our absorbent reusable pads. The women come from an underprivileged background and feel empowered by learning a new skill which enables them to be able to make a living through employment. We use materials which are locally sourced and delivery the reusable pads to women and girls in need.

Reusable pads are keeping girls in school and preventing them from resorting to prostitution to pay for disposable pads. One reusable pad can be safely used from 3-4 years.

Yes, education will be provided on how to wash and clean them.
The pads have been tested and designed to prevent leaking. These pads are highly absorbent and with wings to keep the sides of the panties dry. We recommend reusable absorbent pad to be changed every 3-4 hours depending on your flow.
