How We work
At Mission Relief we take both trust and transparency very seriously and guarantee to deliver every penny of your donation towards your chosen project. To put this into context, if you donated for a Masjid, your money will solely be used for the delivery, labour, construction, contractors and materials required to build that Masjid.
Like any organisation Mission Relief have overheads and operating costs to meet. We have set up a separate bank account where all our overheads are paid from. An example of our overheads are; accounting, legal costs, fundraising events, website and marketing management. To maintain our 100% donation policy, we utilise funds generated from recycled clothing, gift aid, an online charity shop and donations specified for overheads to cover the running costs. We operate on a volunteer basis only to keep the cost as low as possible. Any surplus of funds from the running cost is transferred to our ‘where most needed’ campaign.
By donating towards our running cost, you will be helping Mission Relief to maintain it’s 100% donation policy. Gift Aid is a simple way to increase the value of your donation. If you are a UK tax payer, Mission Relief can claim £0.25 on every £1 donated from the government at no extra cost to you. This means if you donate £10 and can gift aid, £2.50 is donated to the running cost of our charity.
